Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum is also a popular place for lovers of classical photography. The golden building located in the heart of the city is built in Neoclassical and Art-Déco architectural styles. Western-style details must be mentioned such as the arched door frame of the Baroque architecture, the delicately decorated Doric and Ionic columnar orders.
The interior of the museum arranges antique objects with various materials to achieve a perfect aesthetic. The most distinctive feature is the dark brown old wooden elevator in the main hall, which is delicately carved with an iridescent mother of pearl. Like a cathedral, the large glass windows in the building are painted with bright, beautiful floral patterns with a bit of mystery. The wooden handrail of the spiral staircase between the floors combined with the artistic wrought iron railing adds nobility to the space inside the building. Each lobby and room is paved with a type of cement tile with different sophisticated decorative patterns, only all the stairs are paved with high-class marble, which is very impressive and unique.
